The “Reverse Testimonial” Trick

💡 Make prospects sell to themselves.

Most testimonials showcase happy customers praising your product. But what if you flipped it? Instead of a typical case study, try this:

1️⃣ Ask your customers: “What almost stopped you from buying?”
2️⃣ Find common objections—price, complexity, skepticism, etc.
3️⃣ Turn those into marketing content: Share their doubts and how they overcame them.

🔹 Why it works:

  • It builds trust by addressing real concerns upfront.

  • Potential buyers see themselves in the story.

  • It feels more authentic than a generic “This product is amazing!”

Example:
"At first, I thought [Product] was too expensive. But after one month, I realized I was actually saving money because [benefit]."

This makes the before-and-after journey crystal clear, nudging hesitant buyers toward action. Try it in your next campaign!
